Get Your Game in Front of The Scouts!

Different sports require different types of recruiting videos. CoachQuest is the ONLY exposure system that offers athletes the ability to post and distribute all four types online using the unique CoachQuest Recruiting Video Technology. Although academics play a major role in the overall recruiting process, video plays a major role in the scouting and evaluation process.

Even blue chip athletes, potential draft picks and athletes competing outside the US at all levels can benefit from using the CoachQuest online recruiting video technology and SAVE HUNDREDS of dollars in postage and video distribution costs. Scouts benefit by not having to handle hundreds of VHS and DVD's tapes (that may get lost in the mail).

Which Recruiting Video is Best for You?

Video Clips: (up to 20 sec. each)
Scouts in sports such as baseball, softball and golf (technique oriented sports) prefer to see short clips of your mechanics. At no extra charge, the CQ Next Level Exposure Memberships includes the ability to assign up to 5 video clips to the Player Profile using the instructional software and the online video locker system (View Tutorial). Change out your videos as often as you wish. If you need assistance with uploading your clips, send your tape to CoachQuest and we'll do it for you for a nominal fee (View Video Options Chart).

Skills Video (up to 5 min.)
In sports like volleyball and soccer, scouts may first want to see you perform the major skills required for your position. Players have the option of uploading their own video (View Tutorial) directly to their profile free of charge using Windows Movie Maker (Download Free WMM Now) or they may send their edited skills video to CoachQuest to post for them (View Video Options Chart).

Highlight Video: (up to 10 min.)
In addition to or in lieu of the Skills Video, scouts in sports such as basketball and football may want to see a highlight video to begin the evaluation process. This type of video is traditionally put together and distributed at the end of the junior season. Players have the option of uploading their own video (View Tutorial) directly to their profile using Windows Movie Maker (Download Free WMM Now) or they may send their VHS or DVD edited highlight video to CoachQuest to upload and post for them. (View Video Options Chart).

Full Event Video: (up to 45 min)
During the evaluation process, scouts may wish to view your junior year highlight video, skills video or short event footage. Depending on the sport, if they like what they see, they may want a full game/event video from your senior year. Due to the length of this video, players must send their VHS, mini-DV, or DVD's to CoachQuest to convert, upload and post (View Video Options Chart).

Highlight Center (up to 5 videos no longer than 5 min. each in length)
In addition to the videos posted on the profile, athletes may purchase a Video Highlight Center Package where they can post up to 5 additional videos no longer than 5 minutes each in length of additional skills, highlights or short event footage. The athlete may swap any one of the videos in the Highlight Center with the Skills Video posted on the profile at any time. The Highlight Center allows athletes to post an additional 25 minutes of footage and allows scouts to view additional recruiting videos.

How it Works:
  • During the initial selection of the Exposure Membership to be purchased, members may select the video option they desire (View Video Options Chart).
  • Existing members who did not originally select a video option can upgrade their membership features by clicking the Upgrade Membership button and choose which type of video they wish to submit.
  • To purchase a video option, users must first select the Limited or the Standard Exposure Membership. Click Here for details.
  • All users must add the selection to the cart, check out and if desired, send the video to CoachQuest to convert, upload and post.

Note: Video tapes submitted to CoachQuest to be converted and uploaded will NOT be returned to the member, so it is advisable to make a copy of the video before submitting it to CoachQuest. Send your edited and ready to be posted VHS, DVD or mini-DV tape to CoachQuest, Attn: Recruiting Video, 538 Astor Ct., Evans, GA 30809.
