As a Major League Baseball player and coach, Tim Hyers was exposed to a video technology new to the market to help players at the pro level improve their performance.
Looking for an innovative way to use this technology, Tim had the idea of combining quality instruction, video, the internet, and this new software into a simple, convenient, and affordable system and bring it into the mainstream so parents and coaches could have options to help players of any age, sport, and location improve their game.
Tim met with the other CoachQuest partners and they began to talk to parents, players and coaches at all levels to find out what needs they had in the areas of player development and player recognition.
The players said they wanted to get bigger, faster, and stronger, and to have a good way to get recognized by scouts. The parents said they wanted access to affordable quality instruction they could obtain for their children and wanted information to help their children get into college where they could continue playing their sport. The high school coaches wanted some tools to help their players develop and get more exposure to college and pro scouts. The college and pro scouts said they wanted a way to have access to validated player information to streamline the recruiting process.
With the extensive contacts the CoachQuest partners have with college and pro level players and coaches and the idea of bringing the secrets of the pros into the mainstream, the partners developed the CoachQuest Player Development and Player Recognition System.
CoachQuest specializes in helping players get better -and get noticed- by sharing the knowledge of elite players and coaches through the use of video, instructional software, and internet technology all packaged into a simple, convenient, and affordable solution.
